French Faience Carafe Set

Lovely yellow French carafe set with 5 Mugs in wonderful glazed ceramic, signed mc, from the 70s. This kind of glazed ceramique is called Faience, or tin-glazed and enameled earthenware, first emerged in France during the sixteenth century.

It is composed of a pitcher (height 30 cm, diameter 10 cm) and 5 cups (height 14 cm, diameter 7 cm). In very good condition with original label. A bright mustard yellow color enhanced by a brown line with a slender shape. To use in the kitchen or as an or as an absolutely eyecatcher in a shelf.
