This rare Italian mid-century chrome table lamp, named after “serpente“ meaning snake in Italian, is characterised by a flexible chromed base, which allows to bend the two globes in every different position. This table lamp by Gioffredo Reggiani is also known as „Cobra“ lamp because – depending on the positon – it reminds of a cobra snake. Its form is typical for the space age design in Italy, characterised by simple lines and a fun space-age feel.
