SOLD Black and White Ceramic Tea Set by Makio Hasuike

This black and white ceramic set by the Italian Designer Makio Hasuike consists of 6 cups with saucer, 1 teapot, 1 milk jug and 1 sugar bowl. Makio Hasuike was born in Tokio (1938) and is the founder of one of the first Industrial Design offices in Italy. This ceramic set combines the japanese minimalism with the italian functionality. Everything is thought through to the smallest design. The straight functional design is underlined by the black and white colors.
Makio Hasuike was born in 1938 in Tokyo, where he graduated from Tokyo University of Arts in 1962. The designer went to Milan immediately after graduating, winning commissions, recognition and the most important of the current prizes and awards. Makio Hasuike is still active in Production Design in Milan.
