SOLD Space Age Chrome Lamp attributed to Gioffredo Reggiani

An italian chrome floor lamp, so typical of the 70s as for the space age era, with five arms and round shades. Each arm swivels to adjust the light direction. The stems rest on a chrome, round base. This floor lamp embodies the interior style of the seventies which is characterised by the popularity of chrome and curves. Glamorous lighting was the key for the perfect atmosphere. The 1970s design had a playfulness, interior pieces should delivery joy and party feeling.
The style of this floor lamp is reminiscent of the designer Goffredo Reggiani.
Italian entrepreneur Goffredo Reggiani founded the company Reggiani Illumazione in the early 1950s. His perfectionism quickly led him to hire artists and architects around him to improve his creations, such as Gio Ponti and Richard Rogers. Reggiani received numerous awards that testify to the impact of his innovations in Europe.
