SOLD Stacking Coffee Tables by Gianfranco Frattini

Unique set of 3 stacking coffee tables by the Italian Designer Gianfranco Frattini produced by Cassina in th 1960s. The three coffee tables consist of wooden legs and wooden frames in a very beautiful mahogany tone. All of them have the original dark smoked glass table top. The tables stack and nest in different heights, every table has the same depth and width but they are different in their height which extends from 46 cm and 37 cm to 19 cm. They work very well as an ensemble together but also individually distributed in a room.
The famous Italian architect and designer Gianfranco Frattini (1926 – 2004) is a member of the generation that created the Italian design movement in the late 1950s through the 1960s and is considered to have played a major role in shaping it.
Gianfranco Frattini won many professional awards and prizes, among them the prestigious Compasso d’Oro.
