SOLD Velvet Sofa “Nuvolone” by Rimo Maturi

Stunning blue velvet modular sofa Nuvolone designed by Rimo Maturi for the manufacturer Mimo Padova in the 70s. The name Nuvolone comes from the Italian world cloud. And that‘s exactley it – you feel like your are on clouds!

This dreamlike set consists of 4 seats and one coffee table. The seats as well as the table are coverred with a wide velvet in a very beautiful blue. The tabletop is made of hard plastic with various compartments for storing magazines, records, etc. One part of the tabletop consists of a cassette recorder, which unfortunately no longer works. In addition, there are covers for the individual compartments made of plexiglass.
